Many solar plants are run by several parties: an O&M contractor, a SCADA vendor, equipment manufacturers and the DISCOM. Each reports on its own part, and no one is accountable for the whole. As your Owner's Engineer, Renevik reads the plant as a whole on your behalf, holds each vendor to its obligations, and gives you an independent technical view before you approve any spend.
What we do for you
For plants already in operation.
The O&M, SCADA and equipment vendors continue to carry out the work on site, and you continue to appoint them and approve all spend. Our role is to review, supervise and recommend.
Daily performance review
VIKAS, our proprietary intelligence platform, reconciles SCADA data, daily generation reports and billing-meter readings, and our engineers follow up every fault and every gap in the data.
Monthly and quarterly reporting
A monthly performance report against design, and a quarterly review with your team.
Vendor oversight
We track O&M performance, check vendor payment claims, and monitor every contract obligation and guarantee, including defect-liability dates.
DISCOM and settlement
We support joint meter readings and reconcile settlement bills with the generation record.
Equipment and warranty
We work with the manufacturers on faults, repairs and warranty claims.
Spend review
We review maintenance budgets and proposed works technically before you approve them.
When a plant needs more
Diagnosis and recovery for underperforming portfolios.
Where a plant is producing below its design, we can carry out a detailed inspection and testing programme, quantify the loss at each site in MWh, and set out a rectification plan with the cost and payback of each item.
We then supervise the rectification, re-test the work, and confirm the recovery on the billing meter. Each piece of work is scoped and quoted separately.
